Controversy upon controversy created by Rosnah Mat Aris, 53. Rosnah was reported to have married a young guy, Tajul Efendie Isa, 27 at Masjid Al-Khairiah, Taman Sri Gombak. The solemnisation ceremony took place on 13 November 2008 around 3.30pm. However, denied such event taking place. According to her “Hanya Allah yang tahu perkara sebenar”. Well indeed, only God knows the truth, and if it turns out to be true, Rosnah Mat Aris is likely to be cursed by God, again! Probably she will forever be banished.

Dr Fazley Yaakob dan isteri, Azrene Soraya Abdul Aziz telah dikurniakan seorang putera sulung yang diberi nama Ahmad Fariedz Shah pada 29 Oktober lalu. Ahmad Fariedz atau nama manjanya Payish, merupakan cucu pertama yang ‘membuka’ salasilah generasi keempat keluarga Fazley. Fazley is such an entrepreneur that even before his Fazley International College (FIC) has become a full fledged, internationally reknowned college, he has already set his sights on other bigger things such as Fazley International Collection which deals with fashion and Fazley International Dance Academy due to his wife wealth of experience in dance. I wish he had some focus and follows through whatever he has on his plate first till he become extremely successful in the venture before he starts another. Hope he can bring FIC higher to the same level as Sunway College, KDU College or even to the extent of being recognised as a University College.

I was at UiTM’s 69th Convocation the other day (ISTIADAT KONVOKESYEN UiTM KE-69). How lucky I was to be able to see DYMM Tunku Mizan and HRH’s Queen, Sultanah Nur Zahirah in person. Sultan Mizan was there to give away the scrolls to the successful graduates. Tunku Mizan apparently is the UNIVERSITY CHANCELLOR of UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA. I only managed to get a few shots of him and his queen and more importantly his ride, kereta rasmi agong. It must be really great to be an AGONG! I was all agog…

Michael Jackson Had Converted To Islam!

This is an interesting news. Michael Jackson, the singer famous for its THRILLER song, had reportedly converted to Islam, following in the footsteps of his brother, JERMAIN JACKSON. The Arab-Israeli newspaper Panorama claims Jackson has announced the move and revealed plans to move to Bahrain, where he has bought property.

Raja Shahirah Raja Bahrin Won Global Battle of The Band!

Who doesn’t know about RAJA SHAHIRAH RAJA BAHRIN. The girl who was involved in one the greatest custody battle in history of Malaysia and Australia. Recently, Raja Shahirah’s band, Lab Rat had been declared as the winner of the Global Battle of the Bands (GBOB) Challenge Malaysia 2008. The event was held at at Titanium Bar & Dance Club in Petaling Jaya. Raja Shahirah is Lab Rat’s keyboardist and vocalist. Congrats to her. I often see her dad does his Jumaat prayers at Masjid As-Syakirin, KLCC.

Menjadi PENGANTIN BARU, memang saat yang menggembirakan jika yang dikahwini adalah yang dicintai selama ini. Sharifah Hadijah Wan Moss atau Deja Moss, 35 dan suami, Azfendy Azzuddin, 29 mengadakan majlis resepsi perkahwinan mereka dalam keadaan yang meriah pada 16 November lalu di Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, Petra Jaya, Kuching, Sarawak. Deja Moss dan Azfendy telah dinikahkan pada 30 Ogos lalu oleh Penolong Pendaftar Nikah Masjid, Ustaz Mohd. Nazarudi Nadzir mewakili bapa Deja, Wan Moss Wan Hamid. Deja telah menerima mas kahwin RM1,111 bersama sembilan dulang hantaan. Namun begitu, Deja enggan memberitahu jumlah wang hantaran yang diterimanya.

Next reception will be held on 1 January 2009 at Dewan Perdana Felda, Kuala Lumpur. Kinda of ok wedding. Deja told the press that she and Fendy had trouble in getting the wedding dress in time for the wedding. However, she was really thankful to Butik Cosry for the last minute sponsorship. I guess that probably explains the yellow jacket and tanjak worn by Azfendy. The wedding dais or pelamin was specially designed by Julia Manja.

It’s a match made in heaven. RUSDI RAMLI finally tied the knot with the love of his life, Sharon Paul. Love does go beyond boundaries and transcends diferences as proven by Rusdi. It was a closed ceremony attended by close family and relatives. I really admire Rusdi for his moderation. I guess they do look alike (”pelanduk dua serupa”), when you look them closely.
